Hope your 2023 has gotten off to a good start. How are those resolutions looking? Listen, there is no judgement here!
For the first monthly email of 2023, I thought it would be good to go back to the why. Going back and remembering why we do what we do is a good place to start the year. It is a great way to ensure we stay true to who we serve and what we set out to do.
Let's talk about Mentoring! It's at the core of what we do and our why. We mix group mentoring sessions with community service projects and exposure experiences for the girls in our Girls That S.P.A.R.K. program. This is how we help them navigate their today and prepare for their tomorrow, all with a 202Love!
5 Reasons Mentoring Matters
Mentoring teens helps them develop positive relationships with adults and can provide guidance in times of need.
Mentoring teens can help them build self-confidence and self-esteem.
Mentoring teens can help them learn how to make healthy decisions in their everyday lives.
Mentoring teens can help teach them about goal setting, career planning, and other important life skills.
Mentoring teens can increase their chances of staying in school and graduating, which can lead to a better future.
